TaeKwonDo
TaeKwonDo literally means the “art of kicking and punching”. It is based on 2000 years of history. Not only does TaeKwonDo encompass the physical, it also helps build self-discipline, confidence, and self-respect in its participants.
Enrollment is open in the ongoing Kennebunkport Parks & Recreation TaeKwonDo program. Come watch your friends and classmates during any regular scheduled class, where you may join in or simply observe.
Regular classes are held in the Consolidated School gymnasium on Sunday and Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:00, ending at 7:30. If the promise of incredible exercise and terrific stretching isn’t enough to entice you to give it a try… the regular fee is just $25/month regardless of the level of involvement.
Our instructor, Mark Feldman, has a black belt in the sport. He will be instructing the traditional forms of TaeKwonDo and self-defense. It is a perfect class for people of varying ages, advancing at their own individual pace. Participate alone or with family members in this unique fitness opportunity. This safe and fun program naturally promotes education, anger management, fitness, and a positive self-esteem.
