Kennebunk River Committee (KRC)
Minutes for the February 20, 2007 Meeting
Members and Alternates Present:

Grant Nelson – Kennebunk
Richard Woodman - Kennebunkport

Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM by Joel Beck – Chairman
Minutes of the January 16, 2007 meeting were reviewed and approved.
Group discussion on KRC make up of members. It was discussed that individuals from the commercial fishing industry and/or marina owners would make good candidates. Possible candidates were mentions and request for involvement were task.
Review of KRC Annual Report
Joel Beck completed and sent the KRC Annual Report to Kennebunkport for the Annual Town Report. To be followed up with copies sent to the towns of Arundel & Kennebunk.
Joel Beck met with the Code Enforcement Officer’s of Arundel – Jim Nagel, Kennebunkport - Brian Shaw & Kennebunk - Paul Demers to make introductions and discuss the KRC Topics. Paul Demers requested that the KRC look into documenting dockage on the river.
In addition, Joel Beck will schedule meetings with the Town Managers.
Robert Butler presented the Watershed Committee’s pollution counts of the Kennebunk River.
The KRC will define recommendations for a pump station in the March 20, 2007 Meeting.
Meeting Minutes (provided by Grant Nelson) & Agendas (provided by Joel Beck) will be distributed to the (3) individual Towns for website publication, by Grant Nelson.
